I am very excited to be offering a series of mixed-media workshops suitable for all levels of experience (beginners welcome!) in an inclusive and welcoming space.

This process-based workshop will break down the steps of creating unique and personal mixed-media pieces using a variety of materials and techniques including; drawing, acrylic paint & collage. We will work with selected themes and exercises helping us to tap into our creative energy, focus our intentions and express ourselves visually. Over the course of the weekend participants will work toward completing a small series of mixed-media works on canvas and paper.

Pricing:
The cost is $300 including materials ($233 tuition + $67 for materials = $300 tax incl.). A $100 deposit is required to reserve your space (Refundable up until May 1st, 2021). Please email lilyswain@gmail.com to register.

Materials included:

• 2 x 12x16” gallery canvases

• 1 x 24x36” gallery canvas

• A variety of drawing materials & paper

• Selection of collage materials

• Artist quality acrylic paints & brushes

• Gel mediums

• Easels

• Scissors & exacto knives

What to bring:

• Personal photos & collage materials (make a copy if you don't want to use the original)

• Extra canvases or panels if you work quickly - big ideas are welcome!

• Journal or sketchbook

• Please bring a lunch and water bottle

• The workshop runs from 10 am to 3 pm on both days

• The workshop is located at JB Art School, Almonte, ON

Covid protocol will be followed with a maximum of 8 participants, two-meter distance between work-stations, and masks must be worn at all times.
