I am super excited to be back at The Root Studio in beautiful Perth, ON with a specialty workshop to Welcome Summer! Open your heart and mind to the inspiration this magical season offers. In this one-day intensive workshop we will work through a series of exercises designed to slow us down and mindfully appreciate the natural beauty of summer and integrate this into our art.
We will work toward creating a mixed-media piece on canvas, which reflects your interpretation of this sunny theme. We will focus on using color, drawing, painting and collage techniques. Participants are enouraged to bring in personal photos and 2D artifacts to include in their art. Although we will work toward finishing the piece; the emphasis will be on the artistic process and the experience of the day. There will be a small number of participants to ensure an intimate setting and time for one on one instruction.
So you can concentrate on your art; a delicious lunch will be served from the aptly named, local restaurant Picnic (vegan & GF options are available).
Lunch Menu: Please choose an entree and your preference of dessert:
Chicken Satay Bowl: Lemon grass chicken, seasoned rice noodles, fresh carrot, cucumber and red cabbage. Served with house made peanut sauce.
Mezze Bowl: Falafel, tabouleh, carrot sriracha hummus, fried halloumi cheese, tomato, cucumber and middle eastern pickles, tahini sauce. Can be made Vegan
Golden Curry Bowl: Quinoa with buttermilk curry dressing, curry roasted cauliflower, carrot salad, pickled red onion, mixed greens, turmeric pickled egg, raita & spiced sunflower seeds

Brownie (gluten free)
Carrot Cake Muffin with cream cheese icing
Coffee, tea & cold drinks are included.
Pricing:
